Didn't he do some dramatic weight loss a few years ago, too? I swear, he lost all kinds of weight and got rid of the glasses (for a while) at the same time. I thought he had weight-loss surgery then.
Hmm. Anyway, great job on the weight loss.

^^ He got LASIK surgery so he didn't have to wear the glasses, but when he would show up for gigs people wouldn't recognize him. So now the glasses are fake and he only wears them in public.

Well good for him. He was entering Louie Anderson territory.

Yeah, the fat plumps out the wrinkles and stretches the skin. When they lose the weight, the wrinkles plus the extra skin really age them quick.

Good for him, but I agree with Crumpet's comment, he does look a lot older.

Wow - 80 lbs in 7 months. Great job! it was not too fast and as long as keeps moving and making good choices he should be able to maintain the loss.

I forgot he was on Price Is Right. Is that show completely over or does someone else host it now?

Unfortunately, Drew still hosts it. Such a shame...was a rocking show there for 40 yrs w/Bob Barker and all...
Soooooo wanted to be on that show and COME ON DOWN and play Plinko or some shit, spin the Big Wheel and get to the Showcase Showdown....WITH BOB BARKER. Didn't even care if I won...

Those dreams are OVER. DASHED. And I'm bitter.

Unfortunately he will not be able to permanently keep up that level of restriction( not one carb - "not even a cracker") and he will gain the weight back. hopefully he will be able to keep some of it off and reach a happy medium.

Living proof that an Atkins-type no/lo carb diet can have amazing results but unless you have a will of iron those carbs will lure you back (damn you, bread!) so it's very easy to fall off the wagon and the weight will come back twice as fast as you lost it. Good on him for making the effort but let's see him in a year's time.
