Oh for god's sake, just get over here and spend a weekend watching Aliens/Star Wars/Blade Runner and the rest of them with mr butt so I can be done with it.

Me and Mr. Butt would get along FAMOUSLY. It would be a tree house with a "no girlz allowed" sign and everything.

^ What the... You were disappointed in the Godfather I and II? And the Departed? And the Piano? And Lord of the Rings (what, the whole trilogy?) and Gone with the Wind?

Just what does it take to satisfy you?

^ Hey! Moonstruck and Fellowship of the Ring don't deserve to be on that list! I'll give you the other two LOTR movies, esp. Return of the King. I thought I'd die of boredom.

I was disappointed in The Godfather. I'm not saying it wasn't a good film- it really had moments of brilliance, especially the baptism intercut with scenes of whacking, and Sonny being taken out in style- but it didn't quite live up to my expectations considering how often it gets pegged as the greatest film of all time. And Marlon Brando's performance was little better than caricature. Goodfellas will always be my favourite gangster film, though the style is so different some might say they aren't comparable.

I do think TrevMaxwell should be shot for some of the films on his list, though. Especially The Pianist.

i'd shoot him more for the piano than the pianist. i love polanski but i didn't think the pianist was among his best. still an awesome movie though, and doesn't deserve to be on the list.

oh, i want to add braveheart to my list.

I haven't seen the Pianist so can't really say anything there. But who could hate the Piano? What a brilliant movie!

Braveheart is shit! The one good thing about it were the gory fight scenes. Funnily enough, I didn't realise how much I hated it until the 3rd time I caught it on TV or so. It was the same with Forrest Gump.

Definitely agree with the movies in bold, and I'll add another film 'Blade Runner.' I'm a huge Harrison Ford fan, but I can't stand that movie.

I think Alien kind of sucks, by the way, but that might be because mr butt has been shoving them down my throat all these years.
I loved Alien, not so much the rest.

Yes! Alien was incredible. It is a masterpiece. I even bought books on it after it came out(God I was still a teen), and even an Alien ..well..lets just say "action figure"

The Pianist was also an incredible movie. I volunteer to be in the firing squad for Trev. (no hard feelings Trev-now put on the blindfold)

Hated Titanic so much that I refuse to see another James Cameron movie (Avatar included).

Fargo was awful and boring. Two hours of my life I'll never get back.

I just saw Mission Impossible 2 for the first time this weekend. They made a huge medical error in the plot which bugged me. More than that, it seemed like they were attempting to be like Bond and failed miserably.

Apparently I'm a nerd about movies though. I could live on Star Wars, LOTR, Indiana Jones, Bond, etc. I can't get into arsty stuff.

I love it when they have 'Bondathons'. You can watch them a hundred times, and they are still enjoyable.

People always look at me like I'm insane whenever I admit this, but I have never seen a Bond movie. I have never even seen 1 scene out of a Bond movie. My boyfriend keeps insisting we have to correct this "issue".

Casino Royale was a really good time. It was very well done.
