Botox fan: Felicity Kendal, 74, displayed her youthful visage during an appearance on Graham Norton's Show, which will air on Friday

Felicity, who described the play as a 'comic Titanic that doesn't sink', said: 'I can't sing but there is always hope. It'll be fine or I will get fired.'
Talking about the hit 1970s sitcom The Good Life in which she played Barbara Good, Felicity discussed the battle that she and Penelope Keith had to portray their characters drunk.

She said: 'I love acting p****d and we thought it would be very funny if we became as drunk as Jerry and Tom, but the head of the BBC said Barbara and Margot can't get drunk because they are so loved by the audience.
'We fought really hard to do it and eventually we did that scene. It's interesting to see how far we've come now everyone is p****d.'

Iconic: Felicity became a beloved household name starring in The Good Life opposite the late Richard Briers, as husband and wife Tom and Barbara from 1975 to 1978

Youthful: The actress looked far younger than her 74 years as she chatted to the host about her upcoming musical debut in Anything Goes, despite not being able to sing

Felicity previously revealed she is a fan of Botox, telling the Sunday Times magazine: 'I do it every six months, then you don't get the terrible little frown line.'
However the grandmother-of-two recently revealed she has given up Botox and instead relies on yoga, pilates and weightlifting to stay youthful.
She told Good Housekeeping magazine: 'There comes a point where you have to match bits of you with the other bits.'
While she's never had a face-lift, the actress has had fillers around her mouth.

Health kick: The grandmother-of-two recently revealed she has given up Botox and instead relies on yoga, pilates and weightlifting to stay youthful

Felicity explained: 'Then there was a time when you'd think, I'm over 60, I can't possibly wear a short skirt again because of my crinkly knees.
'Then you come out the other end and say, f*** it, I've got good legs, I'm going to put on tights and a short skirt.'
In 2007, aged 67, Kendal told The Daily Mail why she was taking a break from Botox, although she may have revisited since.

Looking good: Felicity appeared on Strictly in 2010, the year she took a break from having Botox

She said: 'I havent done fillers or Botox for ages. There comes a point where you have to match bits of you with the other bits, otherwise you get a terribly random situation.
Felicity said she stopped having Botox in 2010 during a 2012 interview but said back then she was thinking about going back to it once more.
I might have it again soon, she said. Its nice not to have lines when you frown, especially on TV. I dont know why people make such a fuss about it. No one is interested if a woman has her teeth capped or her hair dyed.
She also said: Dont have fillers when your cheekbones are high! Its chipmunk time! The only thing to do eventually is the full thing [a facelift] but you have to do that when youre 40.

Taking care of herself: Felicity indulges in strict regular exercise and a lifetime of yoga and was sporting a smooth visage back in 2008

And no squinting around the delicate eye area for Felicity. She had severe astigmatism for years, which meant that she needed to use a magnifying glass to apply her make-up. Then, fed up of the squinting, she had a lens implant in 2009.
She later said: I see more now than I ever did before. Its the most magical operation in the world you go from being blind to actually seeing.
Felicity indulges in strict regular exercise and a lifetime of yoga. She says that she remembers watching her mother, who ran a Shakespeare touring company in India, doing her yoga exercises when she was a small girl.
She said: I used to exercise for three hours a week doing Pilates and weights. Now I have to do five or six hours to get the same result.

Felicity was named Rear of the Year in 1981, no less, and has kept a shapely figure thanks to exercise and an active sex life, saying: Its part of life, like eating or breathing.
Back in 2008, she told The Independent, what she sees when she looks in the mirror.
She said: 'I see nothing much, everything's rather fuzzy without the assistance of a magnifying glass. With the aid of such a tool, I'd see a close-up of eyes applying mascara.
She said: 'My style icon is the Maharini of Jaipur, Gayatri Devi. I remember seeing her when I was a child and thinking she looked and smelled beautiful; she was the most exquisite looking creature, stunning in her youth, and with age has retained amazing poise and grace.'

Felicity became a beloved household name starring in The Good Life, despite running for just 30 episodes over four series.
The mother-of-two converted to Judaism while married to her second husband Michael Rudman, who is Jewish.
The couple divorced in 1990 but have since got back together. Her first marriage to actor Drewe Henley lasted 11 years, and she was only 21 when they married.
She has two grandchildren, but says she has 12 in total as she counts her late sister's children and their children as her own, as well as Rudman's from his first marriage.
The Graham Norton Show will air on BBC One this Friday at 10.45pm and it is also available on BBC iPlayer.

Barely aged a day: Felicity is pictured in drama Man In A Suitcase in 1968

Lol at the Fail, how many times did they say "youthful"? When what they really meant to say is freakishly hideous and OLD. Does she really believe this fools people into thinking she's younger? And even if it did (it doesn't!), nobody's going to care if you're 74 or 44, if you're frightening little kids and animals.

But this is sad, because she was always so cute, even in that pic from 2000 when she would have been in her 50s. What a waste.

What the hell is going on with her upper lip? It looks like it has disappeared and she has a pink square tucked under what's left in the middle.

I never understood why she was a sex symbol and why she was considered to have a great butt.

Just what I want, a bigger face due to fillers! Same thing happened to Kim Novak and innumerable other celebs.

I don't get why older women think having surgeries would make them look young. Enhancement, I would understand but to try to cheat age through reconstructions are terrible.
