Default A 10 on the ewww scale.

I took this picture at a local department store with my phone.
( my son said it looked creepy as hell, lol, but I was thinking of
    GR the whole time)
This size AAA tiny padded "bra" was in the toddler section. It is not
a swimming suit top. I was absolutely floored.
I just want to cry when I think about what is happening out there.
    This is just WRONG!

    Was it something like this?

I've seen articles on the internet from back in 2008, when apparently
these padded toddler bras first made it to the store, and not just for
    Halloween costumes.

i can't see the pic, but padded toddler bras? what the hell? and also: WHY the hell? a bra is to support boobs. if you're a toddler you don't have boobs so why on earth would you need a bra? and what kind of people buy this shit for their kids?

One more reason I'm glad I have a son.

That's just ridiculous. I'm surprised you didn't see some thong panties. Wait - let me google that...

Make sure you let the store know how you feel, if not also the manufacturer.

That's a great suggestion. I still can't wrap my mind around this. Are infants next? Will there be thong diapers?

Hmmm I'm not sure what else to do about the picture. I can see it. I'll try to figure something else out.
    The store is called Shopko.

OMG, it would be Shopko. I haven't seen one of those in almost a decade. Used to buy my baggy unisex middle school jeans there.

...anyway, yeah, toddlers don't need to be wearing bras, much less padded ones. Toddlers don't even need to be aware of what bras are. This makes me nauseated in a way nothing else can.

Best & Less Dept stores in Melbourne were selling these pushup bras for 6 YR OLDS recently. And people were buying them. I despair.
