Default George Clooney asked Renee Zellweger for weight advice

Hollywood hunk GEORGE CLOONEY credits his former love RENEE ZELLWEGER with helping him gain enough weight to get into character for new movie SYRIANA.

The 44-year-old struggled to pile on the required 15.5 kilograms (34 pounds) for his role as middle-aged CIA agent BOB BARNES, and was forced to ask Zellweger, who ballooned to play a plump singleton in BRIDGET JONES' DIARY, for help.

He says, "In the beginning it was fun not being able to get tables at restaurants, but being overweight is horrible for the blood pressure and my back is killing me. But you couldn't read this script and not want to be in it."

Clooney and Zellweger were romantically linked in 2001.

Hollywood hunk GEORGE CLOONEY credits his former love RENEE ZELLWEGER
with helping him gain enough weight to get into character for new movie SYRIANA.

Picking his teeth with the heel of a Jimmy Choo shoe that happened to be
    Renee's size,
the 44-year-old struggled to pile on the required 15.5 kilograms (34 pounds) for his role as middle-aged CIA agent BOB BARNES, and was forced to consume Zellweger, who just
happened to be sitting at a nearby table pecking at a salad.

He says, "She didn't even know what hit her. One minute she's trying to
spear one of them little tomaters with a fork, the next -- CHOMP!
    She's missing both legs
    .

"Her friends ran from the restaurant screaming, but Renee is so petite
that she was easy to finish off in three more gulps," he remarked,
belching conspicuously. "And I got the part. Hallelujah!"

Clooney and Zellweger were romantically linked in 2001. "I sure will miss her,"
he added wistfully, while rummaging through her purse for change.

Do you think he used barbeque sauce or ketchup to choke down those nasty bones?
