Renee Zellweger was happiest as a waitress!
Posted on Sunday, November 19, 2006 (EST)

She may be making millions of dollars now that she’s a A-List movie star, but for actress Renee Zellweger, her life had never been happier than when she was just a waitress.

    London, Nov 19:
She may be making millions of dollars now that she’s a A-List movie star, but for actress Renee Zellweger, her life had never been happier than when she was just a waitress.

The Jerry Maguire star revealed that when she had first come to Hollywood, she had had to work for two years as a waitress before getting her big break.

However, that time was the happiest for the blonde leading lady, for her the only thing she had to worry about at the time, was the labels on the bottles.

"I did some work on a farm and in a bar - they were the happiest times in my life - I had no worries apart from serving tables," the Mirror quoted her, as saying.

"When I first went to Hollywood, I remember working for two years in a bar. I was happy when all I had to worry about was the labels on the bottles," she said.

Now however, Zellweger is constantly worried about the paparazzi who dodge her every step as they try to get an exclusive picture of her. "Why am I not a 'look at me' girl? When I face walking on the red carpet before a premiere, I am terrified by the wall of photographers screaming my name. It is so violent,” she revealed. (ANI)

An easy solution... go work in a bar won't make the same sort of money as movies, so I doubt she will be happy.

I'm not a waitress but I feel insulted by this. Why do these people feel that their problems are SO MUCH more important than ours? It's patronising in the extreme.
I bet she's conveniently forgotten about the shitty customers, minimum wage and long hours, whether you'll have enough money to get you through to the end of the week and keep a roof over your head. Or was she really so shallow before her fame that all she ever thought about was BEER LABELS?!?! (beer labels? wtf?)

Still. I guess it is true that money doesn't buy you happiness.

    What a tool she is.

I thought she was happiest underneath George Clooney.

Then go back to being a waitress! I never liked her as an actress anyway.
