Why doesn't this woman have stretch marks?

Why does it seem like no celebrity has stretch marks?

^Filters, or maybe they aren’t so visible. I have to pull on my stomach area and inner thighs for mine to become visible. Otherwise, they’re not noticeable.

I think it's kind of hereditary. Mrs Mo and her sister have no stretchmarks, and they have 5 kids between the two of them.

yeah, stretch marks are 100% genetic. I know overweight women without a single stretch mark and super skinny chicks who are full of them. Same with cellulite. Some women don't have it regardless of how much they weigh and the ones who do will never get rid of it no matter how much they work out or lose weight.

I have stretch marks and have had them since I was like 11. used to have a major complex about them but outgrew that with age because life's too short. on the plus side, no cellulite.

Wow, that's amazing for having twins!!

I have none, but that's not surprising considering the early pregnancy. But I have some from puberty. Some are on my butt, which makes NO sense, cuz I don't have an ass.

I've been blessed with both. Argh.

I'll never forget at my 6 week postpartum appointment, the dr who delivered my daughter looked at my stomach and said, in a very scornful tone, "look what she did to you." Seriously dude? It really upset me. I'd take every stretch mark. I had a healthy baby after struggling with infertility. Jackass.

I was stunned. My daughter is almost 24 and I still remember this vividly. So happy I had my regular OB-GYN deliver my second. A woman doc. No comments about my stretch marks or postpartum body in general. Just happy I was healed and and had a healthy baby.

The doc who examined me at mine told me they did "such a good job" with the episiotomy because I was "nice and tight".

    ick ick ick

stories like this is what made me seek out female gyns as soon as possible. but i will say that my current gyn is a man, older, >68. he is so respectful. so it's not like i want to skewer all male gyns.

I'm not a celebrity and I have no stretch marks. And I guarantee I gained way more weight than this heffa while pregnant. Probably gained more in the last 6 weeks than she did total.

So I am not fazed one bit by zero stretch marks here.

Heredity. My mother doesn't have them either.
