Very boring. Will, on the other hand looks fantastic. His suit is beautiful, and hair or no hair I find him very dashing.

She looks lovely. Williams hair is a bit longer, so looks thicker.

I like it. It's just very simple and understated, but we're used to that by now. I think they both look great.

I find them showing a lot of respect to their position by dressing so conservatively. However I do see splashes of current trends via color or the cut of the dresses.... this considered, they are quite dashing here.

Ok ok.. i'm biased. I love them!

Enough with the 'oh they have to dress like this' mantra. There are other royal women who somehow look appropriately conseravtive and manage not to look like Hyacinth Bucket. Like Mary, Rania, Letizia......

Conservative doesn't have to equal frumpy, twee or mumsy.

I'm sure she's a lovely girl, but her clothes are not.

She doesn't have an entourage of stylists and advisers and prefers to pick her own outfits which is fine but as a naturally conservative (unimaginative?) person she stays in her comfort zone. Same with her hair and makeup. She's still finding her way as the royal poster girl and so won't take risks which is a shame as she could be a real fashion maven if she chose to. She should give Kim Kartrashian a call.

    This.

It's true many royals are limited to wearing certain designers, but not to a dress code, per se. If there were a conservative set of rules on how British royalty should dress, I would imagine it would also apply to some of the kooky getups Beatrice and Eugenie show up wearing.

As for this dress, I wonder if it would look less staid on someone with a different personality or different styling. I agree with A*O, Kate doesn't take risks and she doesn't seem to work out of her comfort zone.

She would get criticized if she became a fashion plate. She is supposed to be a working royal and it's not all about her clothes! There probably is a code that she has to look restrained as well as conservative.
