I know!!!! With Ferris Bueller and War Games I had a definite crush on the Brod. He hasn't aged very well, though, the boys can have him  !
I still don't get why publicists think that knowing an actor is gay is a turnoff, though. I mean, I still think Wolverine is the hottest 'manly man' role I've ever seen, even though I know if I met Hugh Jackman in real life we'd probably be swapping moisturizing cream tips and singing 'I'm Just A Girl Who Cain't Say No'. If you go back and watch the Rock Hudson or Cary Grant with Doris Day movies and they're still the best rom coms in the past fifty years, so whyyyy can't George Clooney come out???? Ah well.
In other randomly not-very-related Ferris Bueller discussion, I once quizzed all of my friends to see who they thought was the "coolest" character ever - Ferris Bueller or James Bond. I still say FB wins hands down, but a shockingly high number of people prefer Bond.
