Ah, back to Tom's (alleged) homosexuality...
There are a few stories floating around. Here's what I know:
1.
Mimi Rodgers, his first wife, went on Letterman (waaaay back when)
and she was drunk, and when the subject of her sex life with Tom
came up, she allegedly blurted out, "I need a
real man!" which
certainly implied something....but when later questioned, she claimed
he liked to "keep his instrument pure," meaning he liked to abstain.
2. He has adopted all his children so far, except this spawn with
Katie Holmes.
3. He tries very very hard to convince us that he is straight.
"Methinks the lady doth protest too much" is an expression that
comes to mind -- he's afraid we still think he's gay, so he jumps
off Oprah's couch and declares his love for Katie.
4.
He made movies with a gay subtext to them (Interview with
a Vampire) which turned his fans off -- he and Pitt went on Oprah
and they were positively ice-cold towards the two. (The movie
might've been a move to increase his Asian audience, because
homosexuality is more commonly accepted out here.)
5.
The porn star allegedly had an affair with him, then retracted
the comments.
6. One tabloid claimed that sexual therapists were hired on the
set of
Eyes Wide Shut to teach Tom and Nicole, a married couple
of at least five years, how to behave like they wanted each
other, because they weren't convincing as onscreen lovers (!).
7. In one embarrassing scene in Jery Maguire, he drunkenly
comes on to Renee Zellweger and
gropes her tit as if he's never
squeezed one before. (He goes back and forth, like he's trying to
sand off the bump or something

). It's embarrassing.
If you're a fan
of Tom and you've never suspected anything after that scene,
you are naive.
8. Rosie O'Donnell, who claimed to be in love with him, then outed
herself as a lesbian. Was this "crush" a way for gays in L.A. to protect
each other?
