A merkin is a male version of a beard. They may or may not be gay men and operate in much the same way that a beard does.
It was originally an older term used in regards to a little wig prostitutes used to wear over their *area*.
Mariska's husband is nothing more than a merkin, he use to be seen in gay bars before they got married. I'm not even going to get into all the reasons I know she's gay, this threads not long enough.

You know, Wilmer's always been a mystery to me. He's done a lot of male posturing and bragging in public about the women he's been with. However, i'm not sure if this is because the guy's low on confidence or it's overcompensation because he's actually gay.

I think I forgot to say James Franco in past posts. And Mariska Hargitay? Interesting....very interesting...although if she's not straight I think she's bi, not full-on gay. Just my vibes. Haha, I know several hot (non celebrity) women prefer the company of other hot women. They may be bi, but there is an attraction to women there.
