I remember the Star pictures. There was nothing platonic about them. As the article says, they were cuddling, massaging and what straight man rests his head in another man's lap? I wish i could find an online pic.
That being said, there are many, many gay men (and women) in this world that marry, have kids before coming out in later life. I have a friend who is the biggest queen in the world and was shocked to larn that he was once married and had kids. These people aren't protecting their hollywood careers, so the idea that someone wouldn't have a beard if they weren't famous is ridiculous.
As for John Mayer--although i seriously question his taste, kissing perez doesn't make him gay in my eyes. I've made out with several women but i'm not gay, but it is a different standard for men who experiment.
