By the way Sasha, Russell Crowe (I idolise him too) has a reputation for being very homophobic… and he and Kevin Spacey are very close friends. Kevin spent a lot of time with Russell at his ranch when he was shooting Superman returns in Australia a couple of years ago. All this adds credibility to Morticia’s story. Just saying.

I don't think Crowe is all that bad. And with these celebs the backdealing and celeb status and all of the things they connive together outweighs anything else. If there was anything they could gain by spending time together at the ranch then that would trump anything else. They are gifted actors and celebs above all else and unless one of them is a real flake(Mel Gibson)-then that trumps everything else. JMHO.

And Spacey is such a good actor it would not matter one bit if he 'came out'. I think he could probably carry a straight romantic leading role even after coming out. He is that good.

He'd certainly be more comfortable sometimes. I remember that press night during the run of O'Neill's A Moon for the Misbegotten. A bunch of journalists were rude and stupid enough to giggle loudly at a very sexual (and serious) scene between Spacey and the wonderful Eve Best. Spacey was obviously very cross after the show.
So you're right, Sojiita, he should just come out. The gays would feel much better and he'd be rid of all this irrelevant bashing at last. But I'm afraid there's a slight problem – you get me .

Well you've convinced me of absolutely nothing, in my opinion Spacey's gay gay gay and you can trot out as many beards as you want, it won't change my mind. And it's just my opinion, based on accounts from people I absolutely believe (and my own two eyes). Maybe he does have girlfriends, but a man who sleeps with other men is not straight.

Ah, lol, I thought of it. Complete failure if so. Spacey has been "persecuted" by the press and the gossips for twelve years, and from what I saw I predict a very gay future to Jake Gyllenhaal. Whatever he does about this increasing rumor, it's hopeless. Even three wives and a swarm of kids won't change anything.
