Is'nt that the movie about Ike and Tina Turner? I remember there was some kind of "rape" scene in there, That was a really awarkward scene. Maybe Laurence being gay is true, still anything goes in West Hollywood.

I never thought of it but my mum was behind him in a line to board a plane when she stopped in LA in 2004 and he hugged a lot of people?
But he DOES have that gap in his teeth...

being married proves nothing about one's sexuality, especially in hollywood where they have 2 lives; one for the public, and then what they do behind closed doors. He could be shagging his male lover in one room while his 'wife' sleeps in the other.

If he is doing something behind his wife's back then my respect for him has gone down. I always liked him as an actor, but I think to drag someone into this when they don't want to be, is just cruel -- celebrity or not.

Laurence is very masculine and together and he's married. I just don't get the gay vibe from him. He just seems to normal to be gay.

^ Seriously. Just because some guy acts feminine doesn't mean he is gay, and just because a guy acts masculine doesn't mean he's not gay. It just doesn't work that way in real life -- maybe in la la land, but not in real life. I've met way too many gay people to see how different each are, and how most don't fit that stereotypical "gay mold" and even the ones that DO are usually purposely doing it just to make a statement against homophobes.
Out of all the things that are "in the open" now -- so to speak -- I cannot believe people still believe stereotypes like this. How do people not understand that gay men/women are the same as anybody else? And that they too, come with different personalities.
