Based on my expreinces, being bi is kind of looked at diffrently in the gay community as "acting straight but playing gay" sorta thing, and it's annoying when you have to explain that it's just as natural as being a straight or gay person.

My best friend is bi and she gets shit from everyone. Her straight family (who would accept it better if she'd just say she were gay, not bi), her gay and lesbian friends. Frustrates her to no end. For about three years she just started appeasing everyone with "Yes, I'm a lesbian." Right now she has a girlfriend but calls herself bi...stopped caring what everyone thought about it...

Me and alot of bi-sexuals get that all the time. "Oh just admit you're gay already!" is the norm thing I hear when I tell people I'm bi. Annoys me to no end.

Ah, Mr. A, they're jealous. You have the best of both worlds, dear
SVZ, your comment about feeling disgustingly ugly made me sad. Anyone who is worth your time at all will not give a shit what gender of person you're attracted to and have sex with. The rest of them can go fuck themselves. Hold your head up high, sweetie. You are beautiful, intelligent and damn funny, and that's more than can be said for 99.9% of people in this world....

Well, let me ask this. Is being gay purely about sexual attraction? I always thought that people who were *truly* gay could only fall in love with a member of the same sex. So a man could like to screw other men, but if he never found himself making an emotional attachment to men, that would mean that he wasn't truly gay.
I guess I can understand people who are sexually attracted to either sex. There is so much sexual imagery in our society that it's almost like a Pavlovian response to any nudity to get excited by it (that is, if the person is attractive LOL). But to be exploratory with the same sex is totally different from being able to fall in love.

well the more physical contact you have with someone the more 'love' hormones you start producing when you're near them...maybe they're related. biologically being gay doesn't make sense to me maybe to weed out the pretty ones, oh zing!

If you're truly gay, your brain is hardwired to pick up same-sex pheremones given off. That's the physical aspect of it.
Personality wise.. you can have a crush on anybodies personality. Guys guy-crush all the time.. it's often seen as a kind of beta-male holding the alpha in high esteem..

why does anyone label it at all.. like i never say im _____ the straight chic on the blogs?
or im _____ i love men?... i dont care who likes what.. its none of my biz what goes on in anyones bedroom just likes its not urs about my bedroom...
and in describing ppl i never use sexuality.. or color.. i just say .. ya know that guy/girl that was with _____ ?.. or well i concede and say i guess i cant EXPLAIN who a person is.. if u dont know them...

No no no - if you know an Alpha male (or any Alpha personality of either sex come to think of it) then you will know exactly what the A stands for

Like say, I'm fat, but I dont want people CALLING me fat...so therefore I'm not going to go up to my fellow fat brethren and be like "hey fat ass!" Because then people get the idea that its ok to call people that.
Basically, if you want a word to go away, stop using it...dont be like "well only I can use it"

there is no sense in trying to understand why black ppl use the word nigga to eachother. if you are not black you will not understand. there are WAY too many layers in that words history for a gossip forum.

I dont need to understand it to know that its stupid. You cant do something and then think that that same thing shouldnt be done. It makes no sense.
