Why or how do you have this insider information about Elvis that you don't want to share publicaly? I remember you mentioning something like this in Prescilla Presley thread.

^^ that shouldn't stop anyone from speculating though, cuz all we do here on the gossip forum is pretty much just that. But some ppl bring up facts and quotes to back up their position so they tend to be a little more convincing even if it's still an assumption.

He supposedly had sex with several famous starlets at the time...Ann Margaret? and I forget who else. But I think they had a good time with Elvis based on what's been said. It also seemed as if Elvis was pretty hot for Priscilla until she had his child. Then, she turned into a "mother" in his mind and he couldn't reconcile his own mother with Priscilla.

As for the flamboyant outfits, Elvis was just noveau riche and tacky with no taste. Hello, look at Graceland! Tackiest place on Earth.

Not all men who have Mommy Issues are gay but I wouldn't be surprised in Elvis's case. Mind you, I think is mother had My Son Is A God Issues too (see Celine Dion for modern example). Homosexuality was totally taboo during his 'era' even in showbiz let alone in private. Nobody dared breathe a word that even Liberace was gay at the time and then pretended to be all shocked when the truth emerged after his death. However, Elvis was very beautiful to look at in his prime so I'm sure he had as many male admirers as female.
