For years there have been blind items about a famous executive-star, "Pert Member." A guy who often lends his private jet to closeted gay actors so they can have sex with their boyfriends without fear of getting caught. He also has a beautiful Hollywood actress for a wife who doesn't mind that her husband's boyfriend lives with them. Just so we're clear, this dude is gay. If this were a cartoon character, he'd be covered in pink flames.

Why am I telling you this about a post on John Travolta? Oh, no reason. By the way, the jet in picture belongs to him.

No gray area here; this issue is black-n-white: Travolta is a closeted flaming homosexual, as i & many other people already knew. (By the way, somewhere along the way in my reading about $cientology, i came across a couple very in-depth articles about Travolta's gay relationships & the extreme lengths he's gone to to keep them secret from the public.--Stuff besides just the Paul Baressi matter. There are plenty of stories out there about his homosexuality & how he & his cult will go to any length to keep his male lovers quiet.)

If it really was nothing, then why would his representatives, first of all, go to the length of issuing a statement on the subject; and secondly & more importantly, even bring up the issue of how his wife was onboard the plane at the time?!!!!? i.e., if it really was nothing more than a heterosexual man engaging in "male bonding", then what does the fact that the man's wife was around, have to do with anything? If it really was nothing, then the fact that the wife was around would be irrelevant to the matter. They themselves are BRINGING the matter of sexuality into the matter by bringing up his wife! Their *denial* did way more harm than good.--It was major overkill & reeks of "a guilty conscience"/"something to hide", and basically CONFIRMS Kelly Preston's role as Travolta's Beard!

Why does it seem like some think it's a horrible thing to be gay? Who cares if he is?

He's in a marriage and has children.. maybe he doesn't want anyone to know for those reasons..maybe it is because of his belief in scientology. Does anyone realize how many gay men there were/are that pretend/ed to be straight for the sake of their religion? I am sure there is alot of personal anguish involved in that. There are plenty of men who have done that before him and I am sure many after him will, too.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being gay. Hell, some of my best friends are gay. But there is something wrong with being part of a so-called 'religion (cult)' that says that being gay is wrong and that you can somehow be 'cured'. I think we all know that the whole premise of that is bullshit. And as far as men being in marriages, having kids, etc. while being gay, well, I think they're doing a disservice to themselves as well as to their families. Accept who you are and embrace who you are. Stop trying to conform to some weird societal norm that doesn't make sense in the first place. I mean, after all, what the fuck is 'normal'?

It is living a lie and it is the ultimate hypocrisy to be a gay man yet belong to a 'religion'-(yeah right) that denigrates gays as "mentally ill'. No gay men should HAVE to pretend to 'not be gay' for ANY reason. Fuck that shit!

It IS terrible to be gay, but hide behind a crackpot religion, and try to fool everyone around you, possibly to someone elses detriment if they look up to you as a celebrity or whatever.
