With Anderson I think there is more going on than just not coming out of the closet. Growing up as Gloria Vanderbilt's son probably gave him a very unique look inside the tabloid life of a celebrity. His mother herself is enough but, his brother committed suicide by jumping out of a window. All that ensueed in his life was a pretty good primer for him on how to handle or not handle the media. I don't see him as closeted so much as just private. From what I have heard, he has never been in the closet with the people who "know" him. He just doesn't talk about his personal life in the press.

My husbands Aunt is a HUGE AC fan......and was completely shocked when I informed her he is ghey....and this is an educated woman, who keeps up with pop culture stuff. She said after she had a moment to think about it, it all made sense. She still loves him!

nice to see his tweet posted as it's been made very clear that no adoptions are proceeding in haiti at the moment.

last night ac was obviously disgusted by the missionaries who went over there and attempted to "save" 30 some kids by illegally removing them to an orphanage in the domican republic. he flat out stated there are ways to help hatian kids at the moment but trying to take them out of haiti isn't one of them.

wouldn't surprise me at all if, years from now, he goes forward with such an idea. he's awesome. he'll remember haiti long after everybody else has forgotten.

I kind of do wish he would be more 'visibly gay'? if that is the best wording? He is/would be such a good role model for young gays and lesbians. That is why alot of gays would like more famous/successful/decent gays to be out-so they are visible to young gays and lesbians. Although I do not like outing anyone unless they are actively hypocritical in their lives.

There is a colon after his name, therefore, the phrases should be separated with a semicolon. Unless you're reading it as a complete sentence beginning with While, in which case his grammar is correct.
