Jake Gyllenhaal says he isn't gay or bisexual
"There was plenty of rudeness to go around on both sides, not just from the famous but from the fans as well. From one who stood for hours on the red carpet to hopefully get a photo with Kate Winslet, I can attest to it. Most notably, with Jake Gyllenhaal, who was gracious with his time and generous to a fault. As he stopped to sign for someone next to me a man rudely yelled practically in his face 'are you gay' over and over and Jake gave the most brilliant look at me and the girl whose paper he was signing. We all three were embarrassed for him (the man, not Jake). Jake loudly said 'no' back to shut the bloke up. This apparently did not satisfy and the man said 'bisexual', Jake laughed no, looking straight at me, as if he couldn't believe it. I think my jaw was hanging at the man's audacity. I must have looked so funny. The man finally shouted 'dating Austin' (redundantly, for hello, it's a man's name) and Jake laughed and said 'no' again before moving on. Anyway it was the most comical and surreal moment for my brush with celebrity and made me grateful I'm just a nurse. I wouldn't have had the patience with such rudeness."

What a cool cat. Didn't lose his cool or have a need to go on jay leno to proclaim his straightness, or take out an ad in people magazine saying "there's nothing wrong with being gay but I'm not gay so pwetty please stop saying I am gay, yada yada yada."

What a rude person that guy was though, geeeez. I'm still not convinced jake is straight but 1)its not like hes going to out himself just because some idiot screamed at him, and 2)he doesn't NEED to make an announcement about his sexuality.

I imagine that kind of situation would make a lot of grown man flap, whether they are straight, gay, bisexual, half chips/half rice, but he seemed to handle it well. Why are we so obsessed with his sexuality? Who really cares? Who does it effect whether he prefers to snuggle up a man a woman or both? It doesn't effect how well he can act. It's sad that a 'fan' would try to embarrass him like that

What a dickhead (the man, not Jake). I never got all the Jake hoopla but after seeing him on Conan, and reading interviews/encounters like this, he seems like a pretty cool guy. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was straight, at this point. I think all the gossip has gotten to such a ridiculous point of trying to 'out' people, I would not be surprised at all if they were wrong about half of the people in Hollywood. That's not to say there aren't gay people in Hollywood, I would just not be surprised if the gossip items were all wrong, and were just pointing fingers at the hot new actors who don't care enough about the gossip to make a statement against the items.

Well he IS gay I think..but that guy should not have been asking that question like that so even if he did say 'no' that is fine by me. Asking that question of people is unwarranted-if the person wants to let the world know they are gay they will(unless of course they are gay and are actively engaged in an anti-gay agenda-then they should be outed). Toothy is not hurting anyone if he is staying in the closet(or not) so nobody should be putting that question to him. The guy questioning him was an ass.

Really? Jake? Actually, I'd have thought you and Sojiita would have a grudge match for Colin's hand (among other parts).

Well Grimm likes the beefy bear kind of guy(not really Colin). I like that type too but I like other types as well.
I think this is more of Grimm's type:

Too hairy. I like men with chest hair, but these guys are too much. I'm not big on facial hair either.

OK. I kind of like the look(but not TOO hairy) and like the facial hair..even Colin looks better with it IMO. But all kinds of tastes and preferences are good..

All 3 of those men are nice looking, but they sort of have that convict look to me.
