is it a prank?

Did Jodie Foster date Kim Basinger?

This may be a joke, and at the very least it is an unsubstantiated rumor,
but it's a totally delicious one. A friend tipped us off to a listing on eBay
(that ended yesterday) of a 1989 fax on David Hockney studio letterhead
that contains a hearsay statement that John Waters said he saw
Jodie Foster on a date with Kim Basigner!

The text of the note sez...

"JOHN WATERS TOLD ME LAST NIGHT
HE WENT OUT LAST SUNDAY WITH JODIE
FOSTER & HER "DATE" KIM BASSINGER TO
DYKE NIGHT A[T] PALLETTE, AND THEY WERE/ARE

She is a lesbian ... just has never, to my knowledge, outed herself publicly. She has a long-term partner and they have two kids.

Yes Jodie is in a long term relationship. I think this is a hoax. It is well known that Jodie is gaylesbian though..
