Rosie thinks Oprah and Gayle are a 'tiny bit gay'

Rosie O'Donnell trained her gaydar on Oprah Winfrey and her BFF Gayle King on "The View," saying that the talk-show queen and her BFF Gayle King are, despite their protestations to the contrary and despite their not being full-blown lovers, "a tiny bit gay." As the denizens of "The View" mused about Oprah and Gayle's cross-country trip, as chronicled on Oprah's season premiere Monday, Rosie turned her attention to the pair. Her assessment? "You might be a little bit gay, you're just not doin' it," she said of O and G, explaining that an absence of sex wouldn't preclude the pair from sharing in a certain sapphic satisfaction.

Whether or not she's pushing Oprah and Gayle towards an admission, Rosie also said that she thinks everyone could be "a tiny bit gay." Needless to say, her cohort and sparring partner Elisabeth Hasselbeck does not.

A call to Oprah's rep at Harpo Productions was not returned. And Rosie, on her blog yesterday, lavished praise on Oprah and the premiere, saying that she was "brilliant," "beautiful," and "something else all [sic] together."

I'm starting to like Rosie a little more. It sounds like she's shaking things up and making trouble. If she could get Oprah's feathers all ruffled, that would be fine by me.

Though, as KD pointed out, she says these things and then kisses Oprahs ass...so, I don't know. Maybe she's just trying to get some press?? The View must need it.

This article fails to mention the 5 minute conversation between all the hosts regarding best girlfriends and if you spend a ton of time together. Rosie thinks you must be a 'bit gay, just not doing it'. Which I truly find absurd, but then again, it's coming from Rosie. If I recall correctly, all 3 of the hosts did not agree with Rosie's opinion. I do think Rosie pushed the envelope and then she back pedaled a bit.

NO, no we're not. I wouldn't touch a chick with a ten foot pole thanks. Just because rosie is a lesbian, doesn't mean all the other women are too.

And I think Oprah and GAYle are more than a tiny bit gay.

Well, there are lots of close women friends who like hanging out together, but they're not necessarily bumping uglies. So I don't agree with Rosie's "Everyone's a little bit gay" contention. But I like her these days, because she's stirring up trouble.

I agree, but hanging out together is one thing. Oprah and Gayle sleep in the same bed from what I've read. In Oprahs, what, 400 bedroom house, its not like they have a damn room or bed shortage!
