Exclusive: Jesse Tyler Ferguson Goes Public With New Boyfriend

Meet Jesse Tyler Ferguson's new man!

The 35-year-old Modern Family star, who plays Eric Stonestreet's partner on the hit ABC comedy, held hands with actor Justin Mikita on the red carpet Thursday.

The two attended ELLE's Women in Television event in West Hollywood together -- their first public appearance as a couple.

"Jesse and Justin were inseparable all night," an onlooker tells UsMagazine.com. Mikita was also overheard telling guests he'll be attending Sunday's SAG Awards as Ferguson's date. "I'll be there in the background!" he joked.

According to the eyewitness, "every time he looked at Jesse, he seemed to melt."

Though Ferguson has yet to comment on his relationship, he did acknowledge that Mikita was his plus-one for the evening.

"So @justinmikita and I are at the Elle Women in TV party," the redhead wrote, adding a picture of two nameplates that read "Jesse Tyler Ferguson" and "Guest of Jesse Tyler Ferguson."

Mikita, 25, also shared a photo of himself with Ferguson from the event on Twitter. (They also appear in a picture together on Mikita's Facebook page).

So who is Mikita, exactly? The actor starred in 2000's Can't Be Heaven, and he describes himself as a "hopeless romantic, survivor, purveyor of the arts and soul music lover."

The Daywalker is a Ginger that does not burn in direct sunlight. Hated by true Gingers, the Daywalker can sustain extended periods in sunlight and even has traces of a soul. Because they are still part Ginger, freckles may or may not be present.
