I love the spectacle aspect of this marketing. It's brilliant, and it's totally working as an event, not because they want to sell the bizarre shit in these photos, but because it brings the brand more sales for blah bras and beige cotton briefs.

I can't believe they're even making the Spice Girls crap work so well for VS, though I'm still thinking that's going to backfire.

It only looks big because of the shot and because the rest of her is so darn small!

I don't think they're too skinny, they don't look anorexic, they look fine. A few of them look a bit too skinny for me. But even at that, their bodies don't really do it for me, I prefer to look at a more hourglass shape, thats just the type of aesthetic that I like. But even though some of these girls have great bodies by majority standards, I see about three that are extremely fugly from the neck up, which is a bit surprising. VS usually has had pretty models in the past, but it seems they have really missed the mark this year. I have never found Alessandra Ambrosio appealing at all, I find her face weird and Picasso-like. Adriana Lima is very pretty, she looks too porn star for my tastes, but yes she is pretty. Heidi's face is a mess with her nose job. The girl under Alessandra's first picture is UGLY! I really can't believe that. Karolina is beautiful when she keeps her mouth closed, she has a very ugly mouth otherwise. The only one I find very pretty in the face, I think her name is Miranda Kerr.

Oh, and Marisa Miller could be so awesome except for those awful implants, they ruin everything, they just look so wonky.

The chick with the hipbones jutting out and the chick wearing red and white in the second set of pics are too skinny. And look positively gross with fake boobs on top of the "too skinny"

It's weird - I appreciate athletic bodies, slender, willowy bodies, and more curvy bodies, but somehow... it's like the majority of these girls are some weird combination of all three but not quite hitting the mark (to my tastes, anyway). Maybe it's that they have that no-waist thing going on. They're not unattractive by any means but it seems like the Victoria's Secret models of the past always looked better. I'm fine with thin as long as it's not extreme, but most of these girls just have no shape other than the fake boobs. WHAT HAPPENED TO WAISTS?!

Sorry, but if the underwear you're modeling doesn't fit YOU'RE TOO SKINNY.

Anyway, I think MOST of these girls are your standard Playboyesque girls. Toned, big boobs, big hair. You wouldn't want a fashion model posing in sexy underwear, it'd be disgusting.
