^Yum, Sam Elliot! Kurt Russel! Val Kilmer! Excellent movie, and acting as well. Billy Zane was not attractive to me in the movie, even John Corbett was in the movie.

He was even hot in Tombstone, and brilliant as Doc Holiday as well I might add. I understand he had quite the arrogant attitude once upon a time (but doesn't Russel Crow as well?) and he is/was totally underrated as an actor.

Also, brilliant as Jim Morrison in the doors, as someone else mentioned.

YES!!! YES YES!!! Hot men will always remain hot, even when they age and gain weight. In my humble opinion. So, like, um, yeah, I still find Val hot. And Russell Crowe, too, in The Insider, when he played chubby, middle-aged Jeffrey Wigand (sp?). I'm hot for 'em both!! Beer gut or not, it's still Val Kilmer, right? Yuuuummm!!!

It really has more to do with his age/fat ratio. And WHERE his overweight is. Having such a beer gut at a relatively young age of 46 is just not right or healthy. A little flab, a few extra pounds - everybody gets that.

Meh. Having a beer gut isn't unhealthy, per se. I'm sure it's possible to be slightly overweight with a normal cholesterol and blood pressure level. So until I see how much Val weighs, his BMI, etc., I'll have to say "Meh." Besides, 46 really ain't all that young. I'm not at all surprised that an American male his age has a gut. *shrug*
