and yes, models today have gotten too thin but i don't think that means they should all be size 12s either. they should just go back to the early 90s model bodies.
I totally agree with you, you're quite right, and as a bigger person it annoys me no end when other fat people say they're curvy. I like to think they're jellus bitter fatties

It's very interesting to see them side by side, different sizes, in the same outfit head to toe. I found myself liking the "plus size" model the most.

I know that in America the average woman is overweight so when you see a plus sized model people think that they look "normal". I think that people here expect plus sized models to be really obese because they are just used to seeing slightly overweight women anyway.
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THAT. Agree completely.

I guess I just had a misperception because I did think that plus sized models were about 16's & up. I didn't expect them to be "really obese" (although what does that actually mean these days?) but it seems like the plus sized models I've noticed are bigger than this model. Also, it appears to me that one thing these models tend to have in common is a proportionally small waist. Thin models can be straight up and down, but the plus sized models (that I've noticed) have hourglass figures. Never seen an "apple" modelling. Oh, and I'll go a step further and say that a pretty face also seems to be a requirement for the plus sized models, whereas thin ones can be just interesting-looking, or downright homely.

I'm guessing their idea of plus sized is anything above size zero

edited to say I agree, their faces have to be much nicer than the scrawny ones.

The clothes look somewhat edgy on the thin model, but cheap and trashy on the plus-sized one. Don't think either one is attractive.

I think they only say video adds 10 lbs, not still photos.

The clothes used for the photos doesn't add anything to either model. If they wanted to prove something, have them model clothes most of us wear every day, to work, or out to dinner.

I do believe the larger model is more appealing and most of us ladies would identify with her and be less critical.

These poses are all really awkward.

Pretty face, great legs. I'd like plus size models to be larger than this though!

Maybe they should have modeling sizes be skinny, normal, plus size, fat, super fat, too many hohos, and just big fat ass fat.
