^ I LOVE the taste of vinegar, I think I might have to try the shots.

Let me know how it works for you.

I just started taking it, so I haven't noticed any changes yet. It makes me want to vomit, so if it doesn't work, I'm going to be extremely pissed.

I do it in shots washing it down with some water.
The first time it's gonna be pretty bad, but you do get use to it.

yeah, and I wonder what other drug she is taking along with the vinegar...?

Isn't it supposed to assist in speeding up your metabolism...
Apple cider vinegar speeds up metabolism especially when taken regularly before meals and if used in conjunction with a sensible diet and exercise program it can be a powerful aid in keeping your weight under control.

    I guess everything helps....

You could always drink it (diluted) with a straw to help minimize the damage to the teeth.
Isn't that the formula for making a volcano erupt? You know, like those science fair volcanoes kids make?

When I was a teen, I had given some pot to a friend of a friend who got busted and ratted me out. My friend told me to drink vinegar and then I wouldn't test positive on a pee test. I drank as much as I could handle and was sick for about a week.

I've been doing vinegar shots for a few days--and I've already lost weight. Because the stuff makes me nauseated for hours after I drink it!

I bought some yesterday after reading this thread. I don't mind the taste of it too much but it makes my tummy feel prickly for a while after drinking it.

I'll wait and see, a dessertspoon a day mixed with water!!

I want to drop about 5 pounds in 6 weeks, minimum, I'll see if this has any effect (along with a healthy diet of course )

Actually, I did this a few years back on advice from my doctor (I was trying to lose a stubborn last two pounds) and the weight just slid off, easily. I might do it again, it truly did work. All I remember is that I took it quickly in the morning in the form of a shot, and followed it with a spoonful of honey.

In regards to the erosion of teeth, the suggestion is to mix it with a bit of bicarb.

    From Wikipedia
    Apple cider

Apple cider vinegar, otherwise known simply as cider vinegar, is made from cider or apple must, and is often sold unfiltered, with a brownish-yellow color; it often contains mother of vinegar. It is very popular, partly due to its beneficial health and beauty properties. Due to its acidity, apple cider vinegar can be very harsh, even burning the throat. If taken straight (as opposed to usage in cooking), it should be diluted (e.g. with fruit juice) before drinking.[3] Others dilute it with warm water and add some honey.[4] There have been reports of acid chemical burns of the throat in using the pill form.[5]

Is Cider Vinegar Good for Weight Loss?
Taking cider vinegar pills or adding cider vinegar to your food makes NO difference to weight control.

Despite the weight loss hype, cider vinegar has NO weight reduction or fat loss benefits.

The Cider Vinegar Diet is an old fad diet and anyone who loses weight on it does so ONLY because they are eating very few calories. It has nothing to do with the weight loss effects of cider vinegar.
