It depends. Jared Leto went on a maple syrup diet.
I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep.

I did this Master Cleanse in April 2005 for stomach problems that no meds seem to touch, so I went to a alternative medicine website and found the Master Cleanse and did it for 14 days. And yes the Salt Water is something I dreaded doing every morning, as well a drinking a herbal laxative tea at night to help move everything along. But the cleanse worked for me and I was actually pondering doing again because of the same issue as before.

I must say everyone thought I was a nut for doing it, they'd ask how the heck as you surviving off of Maple syrup, lemon juice and ceyenne pepper and water? I was like after the 3rd day it was a breeze, but boy does it heighten you sense a smell a hundred times over. It seemed like I could smell every ingredient in food around me.

I make the drink all the time and drink it like lemonade. It's a way of getting me to drink more water. Make some up, it tastes good like weak lemonade. Just use the best maple syrup and always fresh lemons. I mix 32 oz in a bottle. Try it as a replacement for soda.

I'm confused as to how much of each ingrediant to put in a glass? How much cayanne pepper for example? How many lemons? How many tsps of maple syrup?

"Furthermore, constant sipping of drinks containing syrup and lemon juice is likely to erode dental enamel....

"I doubt this would have long-term positive effects on health."
Why would people think that they could get thinner by drinking
    liquid sugar!? Sheesh!
