So now she gets called fat but the second a celebrity loses weight she's called "too skinny" or "anorexic" (i.e. Nicole Richie, who was called chubby and then called anorexic)- it's a lose/lose situation. And I'm also sick of this double standard. If this picture was of a man it would not have caused this huge controversy.

I wish people would just keep their rude comments about other peoples bodies to themselves and worry about their own figures. Let the woman relax on the beach in peace.......

I don't know why this became such a big issue. Her body isn't pleasing to the eye, she makes contradictory statements, blah, blah, blah. What I didn't like here were people saying that her body is the standard for "normal". What a distorted idea of normal. Normal body: all limbs in the right places, and healthy, regardless the weight/fat distribution, cottage-cheese-like cellulite or lack of thereof (as long and the person is not dangerously overweight or malnourished). Be thankful for that.

Going off topic but in the case of Nicole Richie, I don't think it was about being "called" anorexic, she really was unhealthily skinny and very sick at that point IMO. Most people wouldn't call naturally thin people "anorexic," which is an illness, but people often make a generalized comment that someone is "anorexic" when she/he has lost a large amount of weight in a short period of time based on an assumption that the weight was forcibly lost un-naturally.

Hey, really I look just like her and don't think am fat. In fact my co-workers jokingly tell me am anorexic & I need to eat up - so really, it's quite different when you're a celebrity, you think.

Keyword "jokingly", or either they are smoking crack. JLH's body in no way, shape, or form looks anorexic so if you look just like her there is no way you look it either.

Looks are absolutely everything. That's why hollywood is always on the lookout for new "talent" from the ranks of models, pinup types, and singer idols, NOT from those who major in drama, act on stage, or struggle to pay the bills waiting tables while auditioning over and over. They can always send these people to acting school to develop their "talent."

I love British TV and a lot of the actors are not lookers, but damn do they have talent! I think Hollywood should get a clue.

What annoys me is that quite large women think they are healthy; NO, you're not. Theres too skinny, and theres too large, and alot of women seem to just let themselves go and call their FAT, 'curves'. Its not the case.
