Do Cheryl Burke and Lacey Schwimmer of Dancing With The Stars need to lose weight?

The pressure on women is ABSURD. Even if they DO suddenly lose weight, then I don't blame them. They're not overweight, and there's nothing wrong with their bodies. I'm so sick of this idea that women have to have skinny arms, concave tummies...oh, AND boobs. Sick. If they lose the weight, it's to make people shut up.

Maybe if we stop expecting all women to look like stick-thin supermodel bobbleheads, then girls wouldn't starve themselves or make themselves vomit in the bathroom.

Lacey and Cheryl aren't close to being fat! Cheryl did gain some weight during the off-season, but she's still in great shape. She's never been a twig, and neither has Lacey. They both have strong, well-defined bodies. There is nothing wrong with them. I would be happy to be Lacey's size.

It seems to me that this is the kind of show where the producers have the expectation that the dancers are going to be all size 1's or less, or they will be phased out.

Cheryl has gotten a bit thick, not fat. I'm sure she could drop the weight quickly if she so desires. To call her fat is ignorant.

Thick=muscle, connective tissue, and fat. She's not fat.

I think they are comparing Cheryl to the way she looked before. They posted some unflattering pictures of her on the beach about a month ago and she did look a bit chubby (pot/kettle)
