I think she's going to be huge even after she gives birth.

Don't mean to sound bitchy, but she wasn't in control of her weight pre-pregnancy. After a baby, it'll be harder - less time, exhaustion, etc.

She admits she has a natural inclination towards gluttony and sloth (hah! me too Charlotte! ) so unless she has a radical personality change or enough incentive, I can't see this weight coming off easily.

But when I was carrying my daughter I put on a good 35 pounds. I didn't overeat at all. And the weight gain was gradual. It's not healthy at ALL to not gain weight while carrying. On the other hand, there are women who don't keep active or eat healthily during their pregnancy and that's when it gets hard to lose the baby weight.

I gained 35 pounds, but lost over 25 pounds the two weeks after giving birth. The weight just fell off. The last 10 lbs were harder to get off, but I did it.

So basically pregnant women gain weight naturally wether they are naturally slim or not, right? I hope that i will be able to eat healthy and not eat for 2 when i'm pregnant.Just eat right you know?

My luck is that i don't gain weight easily, and i lose weight easily too, but it is impossible for me to go below a certain wheight.I could eat 900 calories a day and still stay the same plus i'm very muscular and it was a great relief to learn that muscle weights more than fat lol!!

I had a hard time accepting that i will never be skinny or super slim.I'm just slim, normal and i'm cool with that now.Life is too f*cking short.

I do believe the doctors want you to gain some weight. It is what the body does. I think the amount most docs want you to gain is about 20 lbs. Someone correct me if this is wrong.

I think for the most part it's natural to feel hungrier when pregnant. With my last I gained 37lbs. For a plus sized gal, it wasn't great, (it wasn't terrible either) but certainly not as much as a lot of my smaller friends who finally felt like they had permission to eat and gained 50+lbs.

For this pregnancy, the first trimester I lost weight, (which many people do, but if you're small to begin with, the doctor might be concerned) Now I'm holding and hope to only gain about 30lbs. I'm keeping up the exercise (lots of walking and swimming, and chasing around a toddler) and when hungry trying to chose healthy options-though ice cream and red curry are definite cravings. I've also found with this second pregnancy, I'm more inclined to eat smaller meals more frequently, since there is less room in there.

my sister is a little on the plus-size, and she gained only 18 lbs with her first pregnancy. she lost more than half of it just by having the kid, and was left with like less than 10lbs to lose after her pregnancy! (to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight that is).

The pics with her in the black bikini aren't extra chubby. She looks normal there.

My mom showed me pics when she had my sister (she was 17 years old) and she gained less than 20 pounds. But she said that she actually became more beautiful after giving birth to my sister. She was skinnier after the pregnancy than before. HAHA, after 3 kids, now she's fat. Another reason why I shouldn't EVER EVER EVER have kids: My body will be ruined. I don't care what you mothers say. My looks are going to be what takes me through the next 10 years and I'm not giving them up for some ungrateful, screaming, little person thing.

You only have your looks to rely on? That's not good at all. I hope you're a real stunner.

I'm considering being a model. I have an appointment with an agent in early August. My sister modeled a little too when she was my age (nothing huge). And yeah, models need looks. I need a brain too, but not for the job.

And even people on here said that you're never 100% the same way after you have a baby. So why risk it for something that I don't even want anyway?

I completely respect anyone who decides against having a child if they don't want one.

My concern was about the comment about relying on your looks, that's all

its not healthy to gain so much weight--plus u basically cant even tell shes pregnant! Like the belly itself is NOT the biggest part of her, infact her belly looks tiny

God, please give me the skills to instill in my kids a greater sense of worth than what they look like and whether or not to have sex with older men because everyone else is doing it.
