Um, yeah, I've seen thin people who look like shit too. I wasn't saying that thin = classy in all cases. In the case of Carrie Underwood (these pics) and Nicole Richie, I think losing weight (although Nicole lost way too much) helped to class them up. Part of the image makeover with those two was better clothes and hair, so it's hard to separate. I'm sure if Carrie had ratty hair with lots of roots and was wearing ugly clothing she'd look less than classy.

Oprah is a good example of a person who is not thin that looks classy. Her hair, makeup and clothing are impeccable.

As far as redneck goes, there's being a redneck and then there's looking like a redneck. Two different things that don't necessarily go together. I don't know if Carrie has redneck deportment, I've never met her (or watched her on Idol)...just stated my opinion that in the "before" pictures, she looked kind of redneck. And I'm from NC and shop at Walmart, so believe me, I know redneck

Wow! Thanks for finding the older pics of her. I knew she had lost a bit of weight, but I didn't realize how much.

She really does look perfect right now and she should stop.

She looks perfect now. She was chubby before but now is at a perfect, healthy, muscular and toned weight. Good for Carrie!
