I think she looked great in Spiderman. I liked the blonde hair on her. Her eyes are amazing!
Not that it's an issue but she did gain right much weight during her pregnancy.

Why make a thread bringing attention to this, Horteon. If you think she's huge at the S3 premiere, then you have some body image issues to deal with. It's people like you that cause these actresses to become anorexic right after childbirth. Sick.
To be fair, this website is pretty superficial all around. If other celebs can have their weight discussed, why not her? She is pretty chunky now. That doesn't make her a ugly or a worthless person, nor does it mean anorexia would be preferable. Honestly, I get irritated when people act like these are the only two options: be fat or anorexic. Just because you observe someone has gained weight and maybe would aesthetically look better with some weight loss doesn't mean you are advocating for anorexia. We all thought Nicole Richie looked good after Simple Life when she trimmed up a bit, but we also noticed when she went too far in the other direction.

There is nothing wrong with her weight. Vigorous exercise routines for 4-8 weeks post partum can be detrimental. Now, of course, there are exceptions. There are some mothers with babies less than 10 months apart.....

Okay, I don't have body issues nor do I think a woman should be stick thin right after giving birth. I still am working on 25 pounds I never lost after being pregnant myself. I'm not usually a poster who slams actresses on weight either. Still, I saw Bryce on the Today show. She was standing next to James Franco and the Sandman guy. She was HUUUGE. Seriously, she must have gained 100 pounds. She dwarfed James Franco. She might have been ill during her pregnancy or maybe she just went wild with being able to eat a lot. Whatever the case, she is going to have a hard time losing all that weight. Just like anorexia is unhealthy, so is being obese. And yes, I think she's dangerously fat.
Flame away.

What a juvenile and "ignoramt" response. LOL. Is school out or something?
Bryce was seriously overweight on The Today show. Beyond just having a baby weight. It's dangerous to gain that much weight when you're pregnant, because it is very difficult to lose it after you've had the baby as well as possibly adversely affecting your health.
My post was not a slam, as I said. I was being honest about my reaction to her. She must be 80 pounds overweight when I saw her. I believe that is puts her in an area to be very concerned. That's my opinion.

I agree Picara, we saw her on tv the other day and my hubby said "wow, she has put on a lot of weight, how did she gain that much that fast", at that time we didn't realize she had a baby. I do agree with you though, having a baby doesn't mean you have to gain THAT much weight.

Thanks for the civil response sweetie. LOL.
I'm empathetic to Bryce. But it is dangerous to gain that much weight and way harder to lose.
Really though, is it necessary to call someone "fucking stupid" over it? Geez.

Ok, I had a baby in February also (like Bryce)....and she did gain a lot of weight, I agree. However, she may have had medical issues that caused that larger than normal weight gain (ie: diabetes/eclampsia, etc). I'm sure she will lose the weight when she is able to, and feeling more like herself. If she's anything like me when I had my first, she's feeling very overwhelmed and doesn't know what end is up......and if she's breastfeeding, she really cannot go on a strict diet....so....
I have a few pounds to lose too, so I shouldn't talk.

I believe "fucking stupid" is a blatant personal attack, wouldn't you agree? And props to you Picara for reacting in a calm, mature manner.

You're absolutely right Lynnie. Really, I wasn't attacking her. I gained too much with my first child by my sixth month. it was a combination of all day sickness and In-n-Out burgers. My OB gave me a strict lecture about the health hazards and I tried to put on the brakes. So I can completely relate to and understand Bryce's situation. However, the OP got attacked for even mentioning her weight gain. And I have to agree with crumpet who wrote this:

So that's why I chimed in. But I'm sure Daddy Opie will hire her a personal trainer and a chef. She'll be back to slim in no time.
Jealous, bitter fatties are the bestest!
P.S. I'll probably still be working on my "baby weight" when my kids are in college. So go Bryce!

Obese expectant mothers are causing major problems for the Health Service, experts say.
A study found these women have a higher risk of complications and require extra equipment and staff.
Scientists warned that they need more one-to-one care, which can affect NHS waiting times for other patients.
Obese women also have more Caesareans and need extra scans and tests.
Specialist equipment such as reinforced theatre tables, ward beds, chairs and wheelchairs, is also needed, said the researchers, writing today in the BJOG: An International Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Obese mothers have higher rates of infection and require extra support with breastfeeding. There are also added risks for the baby.
Professor Carolyn Summerbell, of the Centre for Food, Physical Activity and Obesity Research at the University of Teesside, said: "We’re not trying to blame or stigmatise obese pregnant mothers and we would certainly not recommend that overweight mums-to-be go on crash diets.
"But our initial findings show reasons for concern with obese pregnant mothers, and there is a lack of weight management guidance and support readily available for them."

Plenty of women gain too much weight while pregnant. No, it's not *good*, but they can lose it.
I did. Got way too fat, had a very healthy baby, lost the weight, and all is well.
I don't think Bryce is naturally a big person, so she probably won't stay this large. She did JUST have a baby, not all women are able to slide right back into their old jeans just months after giving birth.
