Katie Price looks almost unrecognisable

She turned her ample curves and fresh-cheeked face into a multi-million pound fortune.

But a gaunt Katie Price looked frailer than ever as she went on a shopping trip with husband Peter Andre yesterday.

Despite concealing much of her face behind oversize sunglasses, the glamour model turned reality TV star could not disguise her increasingly shrunken features.

Retail therapy with husband Peter Andre: But slimline Jordan still looked miserable

And instead of her usual beaming smile, the 29-year-old's lips seemed set in a tight, pained line.

Katie, dressed in a sunny yellow T-shirt and blue jogging pants,had ventured out on a shopping trip with one-time pop-star Peter.

If she had hoped a spot of retail therapy might cheer her up, it clearly didn't do the trick.

However, the personality formerly known as Jordan could be forgiven for feeling under the weather.

Over the last couple of years she has nearly lost her 35-year-old husband after he contracted meningitis, suffered a miscarriage and has had to deal with allegations by a former nanny about her personal life.

There has also been ongoing problems with the health of her oldest child, Harvey, five, her son by former lover Dwight Yorke, who is blind and has a hormone problem which causes him to put on weight.

Over Christmas, Katie, who has two children Junior, two, and Princess Tiáamii, who will be one in June, with her husband, underwent breast reduction surgery and has also had a nose job.

But her new, slimline look does not seem to have made her happy and there has been increasing speculation about her ever-diminishing form.

Has she had extra work done since she's been back from the states? She looks so plastic! She looks like she's almost been botoxed to death.

What? I respectfully disagree.

She looks like a wax figure. She's greasy and looks plastic with terrible extensions.
