It's called a nasogastric tube. It is threaded thru the nose, down the esophagus, and into the stomach.

I think she should be left alone, she's not exactly a celebrity. Thats a sad picture though, and Perez is an arsehole for putting it up.

They had this picture in the Daily Mirror a few days ago. I think what I find most disturbing is that there are people out there that think she is worthy of praise because she is so thin and on a feeding tube. That's a badge of Dedication amongst Anas, or so I'm led to believe...

Very sad indeed. Still, I can't understand why someone would choose having a tube shoved up their nose and down their throat over having a little something to eat each day. Especially someone who's so concerned with her looks.

Yeah, I know....... it's a "disease".

Whatever the case, hope she gets better soon.

Thats so sad. Its almost like these photos glamorize anorexia. I dont know who in their right mind can look at that and want to aspire to it, but then gain, anorexics aren't in their right mind, and thats why they are sick in the first place.

She is sick in the head. Her whole family is, he mom is a great role model.

She comes from an affluent family, she has never had a "want" unfulfilled.

She reminds me of the kids on MTV's Sweet 16 and it a makes me want to cash in their airline miles for a non-stop flight to Darfur to see how people really life.
