In a world where everyone in hollyweird is a size 2, 4 or 6, this site gives a more genuine image of what women's bodies actually look at in various sizes. I think it would be a healthy thing for us all to keep in mind when we obsess about our figures and what they 'could be'. Healthier, at least, than the magazines at the checkout counter.
Welcome - My Body Gallery - What Real Women Look Like
These are women from all over who have simply snapped a picture of themselves and entered their (presumably mostly accurate) height, weight and clothing size.

that is an awesome website! it's interesting to see pictures of other girls that are the same height and weight as me but our bodies are so different. i love it
Interesting website. It really highlights how the amount of muscle you carry influences your body and the size you wear.
I still won't believe Kirstie Alley is a size 6, though.

Thanks for posting this! I was really glad to see that other women look like I do exactly; I feel normal now.![]()

I did a search for my height/weight/clothing size, and there were a couple of women I could totally identify with, and a couple who I was envious of their shape...
There is no one with my body typepear, 5'8, 150-160lbs, pantsize 10/eu40, shirtsize S with Monster Thighs.
you should submit a photo. I bet all the others with your body type are feeling the same way![]()

That was really cool and eye opening for me. Thanks for posting!
Interesting site. It really does show you how fitness and shape make a big impact in how you look. Some women who looked incredibly fit were at a much higher weight than I would have guessed.
There are quite a few pics in my range and none of them look like me. One of the additional questions I wished they included was age. The majority of these pics look like they're women younger than 30. I am 49, and although not in bad shape, comparing myself to people half my age isn't realistic.
I agree that age might be a helpful factor. Perhaps we can suggest it to the site managers as a helpful addition(?)

No search fits my criteria. I want to submit a photo. Maybe during the week.
Edit: I had to take off 10 - 20 pounds on the search to get results. Some who weigh less than me, look less fit. I work out 3-4 days a week, while some claiming to be 120 - 135 look unfit. Interesting.

Muscle is an interesting beast when it comes to weight. I fluctuate between 128-135 right now, and usually I get to 135 because I've been doing my weight training regularly; its rarely because of flab. I look far more fit at 135 and flabbier at 128 (with exceptions for things like Christmas time eating or snowpocolaypses![]()
