Carnie Wilson Sacked For Not Losing Weight

Singer Carnie Wilson has been sacked as a spokesman for a new diet plan - for not losing enough weight.
The former Wilson Phillips star also angered bosses of The Fresh Diet company by promoting a range of her own cheesecakes while supposedly urging people to lose weight.
Wilson had agreed to be the face of a food-delivery service called The Fresh Diet which promotes healthy calorie controlled eating.

But Ezzy Duchman, publicist for the California based company said the singer was promoting her desert while she was supposed to be only eating its three meals and two snacks a day.
Duchman said: 'We had to take her off the corporate website because she has not been a successful case.
'She didn’t stick to it, and she didn’t lose weight. We had to cut ties with her.'
Her spokesman said she had lost 19lbs while adhering to The Fresh Diet plan and has accused the company of breaking the contract.
The 5'3" singer has had a well documented battle to control her weight and once weighed over 300 pounds.
In August 1999 she underwent gastric bypass surgery in an attempt to finally get her weight under control for once and for all.
Following the surgery the weight fell off and for a while 44-year-old Wilson looked absolutely amazing , going from a U.S. size 28 to a size 6 and losing a total of 150lbs.
One year later the newly slim singer married fellow musician, Rob Bonafiglio, a former guitarist for the band Bush, whom she had met on tour.

In 2003 a proud Carnie even took the bold step of posing naked for Playboy in an effort to show off her new slimline figure.
However, her weight battle was far from won and despite having undergone the life-threatening weight loss surgery Carnie piled on the pounds once again.
Carnie especially struggled following the birth of her first child, Lola Sofia in April 2005 and appeared significantly heavier once again.
Desperate to get her battle under control once more, in 1996 Carnie appeared on the fourth season of VH1's hit show, Celebrity Fit Club.
Over the course of the show she managed to lose a total of 22 lbs, but she eventually gained that back again once leaving the show.
And following the birth of Carnie's second child, Luci Bella in 2009, she seemed to be firmly back at her pre-op weight once again.
Carnie has fought the battle of the bulge throughout the whole of her life, from adolescence onwards.

Shortly after becoming the spokesperson for Fresh Diet the singer opened-up about her struggle and how she was trying to use the diet plan's food delivery service to help her achieve her weight loss goals.
'I had a blood expert tell me that I've been f***ed from the start,' she said in February of this year. 'She said my pancreas is small and I've never been able to digest sugar, and my digestion is all screwed up.
'I think she's right. It has nothing to do with my daily choices. I think it's been my struggle forever. My own personal demons.
'I'm not an exercise lover and I'm a food lover, and my body doesn't have a great metabolism. You put all that together and there's my challenge.
'Right now I'm focusing on the delivered food that tastes so delicious. I'm obsessed with food, so I'm just trying to be healthy. Going from 300 pounds to 150 pounds was the biggest change of my whole life.
'It was scary, and wonderful, and inspiring. But it was also uncomfortable because I felt responsible for everybody that is overweight. There's a huge emotional component to weight loss.
'I'm trying to teach my daughter about healthy eating. That's the whole point! I can't deal with deprivation. F**k that! I want to make the best choices 8 times out of 10.'

Yup as always such types are in denial. Blame it on everything except the fact that you stuff your face with the unhealthiest of foods 24/7.

I don't know what to say. She's done gastric surgery which could have killed her. That's like the ultimate step, and even that didn't work.

It's all about portion control. There's simply no excuse. It's hard at first but eventually you and your body will adapt to that new mindset and keep the weight off. That's how I managed to lose almost 30 pounds a few years ago and keep it off. This, even with eating fast food and junk food, not to mention exercise.

I know 2 people who have had gastric bypass surgeries. Both initially lost a lot of weight although neither became society's idea of svelte. A good part of the weight returned after a few years. They look chubby v. obese now and they continue to struggle with diet and food obsessions. Wouldn't wish it on anybody.
