Miley Cyrus kills NINE HOURS at the hairdressers as she plays on latest celeb must-have: the iPad

It's the latest invention from Apple that the world has gone crazy over, with everyone who's anyone clamouring to get their hands on one.
And Miley Cyrus is no exception as she was snapped in New York clutching her iPad like it was the most precious thing in the world.
The pop star took along her new gadget to play around on while she went to the hairdressers.

It was no doubt the perfect way to kill some time while she was there, as she can use the iPad to watch movies, listen to music, check email and surf the internet.
And thankfully for the 17-year-old star, unlike the iPod and the iPhone before it, the iPad has a battery life of up to 10 hours - which is how long she spent getting her hair done.
Not that anyone was able to see the final result of her half a day in the salon as she left with her long stripey cardigan pull right over her head.

I think she's put on a growth spurt over the past couple of years. She may be losing weight, but she's also taller and that's factoring in to her new look.
