Kristen Johnson lost a lot of weight in 2008 after suffering from a health condition (bleeding ulcer) where she spent weeks in the hospital thinking about her previous bad diet of plenty of fattening junk food and lots of alcohol. After getting out of the hospital, she changed her habits and ended up losing 60 pounds. There were many rumors and speculations about her emaciated frame, and nobody could figure out if her weight loss was due to extreme dieting, anorexia or from the bleeding ulcer itself (or a combination of all three).
Nowadays, Kristen has been making guest star appearances on Ugly Betty. She still appears to be pretty skinny but looks better/healthier overall.
