Supermodel Tyra Banks 'feels great' after dropping four dress sizes
She hit the headlines two years ago after gaining a 30lb and losing her slim supermodel physique.
But 5ft10in Tyra, who recently ballooned up to a size 14-16, has now shed the excess weight to go back down to the curvy but slim size 8 figure she became famous for.
The stunning America's Next Top Model host, and former Victoria Secret model, who says she was 11-and-a-half stone at her heaviest, showed off her slender and toned new figure on a recent photoshoot in New York City.

I feel great!
Tyra Banks, here on a photoshoot in New York, has slimmed down drastically and says she now 'feels great' after two years of facing criticism for her weight gain
New woman: Apart from shedding the weight, Tyra says she no longer feels a need to always wear hair extensions and has started showing her real hair in public for the first time since she was 17
The 35-year-old, who hasn't done much modeling over the past couple of years, looked back on form and as confident as ever as she posed in her form-fitting grey knee-length dress, black tights and knee-high boots.
Later on in the shoot, she slipped into a sexy off-the-shoulder fitted brown knit dress, which showed off her perfectly honed physique even more.
After two years of criticism for inflated weight, speaking of her new look the star said:
'I might be doing a little TMI (too much information) - I always feel great when I don't have clothes on.'
Happy again: The svelte model says she wants people to see the 'real me'
'When I told the world to kiss my fat a**, I remained that size for two years. I maintained it with my ice cream and my salad with ranch and dressing and croutons and bacon bits.'
Tyra had faced an onslaught of international criticism, being branded Tyra Pork Chop and headlines that said 'America's Next Top Waddle', when she was famously pictured in 2007 looking heavier than normal in an unflattering swimsuit on holiday.

A heavy 2007: The infamous swimsuit picture of a full-figured Tyra that incited wide-scale criticism
Although she claimed she was happy with her body and not upset by the insults, Tyra did admit to feeling more comfortable when she was lighter.
Her joy with her recent weight-loss is also an indicator that she is much more confident with the weight off.
She told People magazine at the height of the criticism two years ago: 'I still feel hot, but every day is different. It's when I put on the jeans that used to fit a year ago and don't fit now and give me the muffin top, that's when I say, 'Damn!'
She added: 'I get so much mail from young girls who say, "I look up to you, you're not as skinny as everyone else, I think you're beautiful," So when they say that my body is 'ugly' and 'disgusting', what does that make those girls feel like?'
Tyra said that since she retired from modeling in 2005, the number on the scale has fluctuated from 148lb to 162lb, depending on how well she is taking care of herself.
'I feel more comfortable when I'm lighter – I sleep better, I snore less, I have more endurance when I work out, my arms look better,' she admitted.
'But, I've made millions of dollars with the body I have, so where's the pain in that?
If I was in pain, I would have dieted. The pain is not there – the pain is someone printing a picture of me and saying those (horrible) things.'
But it seems Tyra has now chucked out the bacon bits and ice cream for a healthier diet and what is sure to be a rigorous workout regime.
But apart from shedding the weight, the newly liberated star has also shed her famous hair extensions, which she credits for completing her make-over.
She told American TV veteran
Larry King last week how much happiness she felt showing off her real hair on the season premiere of The
Tyra Banks Show.
She said: 'I've worn weaves and wigs and pieces and clip-ons and clip-outs and clip-downs and around since I was 17, 18, and I wanted to show the real me.
'I wanted to show the raw me, and I just got out of the shower, beat the face first of course and then came out of here on this stage, and [said] "this is me, you all. This is me.." It felt so liberating. I have worn fake hair since I was 17 years old.'

Fat chance: 'When I told the world to kiss my fat a**, I remained that size for two years,' said Tyra. 'I maintained it with my ice cream and my salad with ranch and dressing and croutons and bacon bits'
