I always thought Claudine Auger was stunning. She was gorgeous in Thunderball (1965).

Barbi Benton. Total babe. Playboy model, sometime country singer. Very late late 60ies, I hope she still counts. (She went blonde later and lost all the appeal to me with. not to mention what she did to tighten her face.) But I love brunette hair with blue eyes.

“You think I look like like a clown?” Kourtney shot back. “Well, you look you just won the Tour de France and you’re cycling around town.”

I just realized Barbi has been married to her husband for 40 years....40 years!

I so love the sixties - it was shit for women but awesome in style, art and make-up, so fresh and rebellious.

Anna Karina - Danish model, actress and singer. Came to Paris at the age of 17, appeared first in Palmolive ads for soap and Godard saw her and wanted her in his film. She refused the first time because of a nude scene. "When Godard questioned her refusal, mentioning her apparent nudity in the Palmolive ads, she is said to have replied, "Are you mad? I was wearing a bathing suit in those ads—the soapsuds went up to my neck. It was in your mind that I was undressed." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Karina
She became a French New Wave icon in 60ies cinema. She had the best eye make-up ever and is another brunette role-model I adore. I always wish I could emulate her style in make-up and fashion, it looks so timeless and French. There are still many fashion bloggers who create her signature style from film stills.

I don't know how I left this one out - I double checked. Linda Harrison. She was most famous for playing "Nova", opposite Charlton Heston in "Planet of the Apes". Even as a little kid, my jaw dropped when I saw her - gorgeous raven hair, beautiful face, and great body. My dad met her around the height of her fame because he worked with her sister, Sandy.

Mariska Veres - lead singer of "Shocking Blue". Exotic features partly due to Romani ancestry. Also, a video of her singing the original version of "Venus" - very distinctive vocal style.

Great voice, great style. I see a little Joan Collins in her.

I loved this song as a kid, Baby It's You by Smith. Written by Burt Bacharach. Gayle McCormick must have lip-synched to this song at least 50 times. A little Janis mixed with Dusty Springfield. Janis would have killed with this song. Dig Gayle's groovy threads. I thought she was so gorgeous.
