All of these women are far more beautiful, classy and just plain breathtaken that the majority of Hollywood today.
I miss the look in this era. Beautiful full shapely eyebrows that are not plucked to death and covered with eye pencil, soft make-up, all natural beauty -- there was NO AIRBRUSHING at this time.

These actresses were definitely classic beauties. My favorite is Vivian Leigh.

vivien Leigh made Olivia de Haviland look homely in GWTW.
She's tops along with Grace Kelly, elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe.

I agree, but would add Ava and Greta.

Also Brigitte Bardot is one of my all-time favorites, and Olivia de Havilland seemed to be quite a looker too.
But I think Grace Kelly, among many others, was very plain.
Here's some young Brigitte Bardot:

Totally agree with you here! I thought I was the only one who thought Grace Kelly looks very plain. I find her looks to be completely overrated. GK looks boring and snobbish.
On the other hand, beauties like Bardot and Raquel Welch have character and are absolutely GORGEOUS!

Aww, merci!
Now there's a woman who I'd love to look like. Overbite and everything. Just look like, minus the crazy.
