none of those people are white and they'd be offended if you call them that! No joke. And how are someones eyes nasty? Indian stars aren't as famous for plastic surgery like hollywood stars. So you'll have to get use to a natural look.

Isn't Indian culture strongly against interracial relationships/marriages? Kind of ironic considering the most famous Bollywood stars look almost caucasian or at least mixed race.

Ok, I lived in India for five years and here are a few things I learned:
1. Alexander the Great and his HUGE army made thier way to what is now Pakistan and Northern India, where they inter-mixed with the local people to the point that now Northern Indians are pretty much a different race from Southern Indians. Southern Indians are Dravidian.
2. Bollywood films are made in the language Hindi, the predominant language in Northern India. In Southern India there are MANY languages, Hindi being only one among them. To be a Hindi film actress you have to have perfect Hindi pronunciation, in order for those with partial skills to follow the movie. There is a whole separate category of films for those in other languages, and those actors may or may not be darker (never noticed). This language issue lends itself to actresses being more from the north than from the south of India.
3. Skin color is definately a class divider in the north of India, I don't have any personal expirience of it in the south so I couldn't say.
Hope that helps!

Correct me if im wrong. Bollywood is located in Bombay which is in western India, not northern India. The language used in Bollywood films is Hindi which is the national language of India. There are indigenious industries in the North, South and Eastern India where the language spoken is different.
The Northern film industries belong to the regions of Punjab and Bihar -bhojpuri.Google searches say this. I'm made to believe Bollywood is an Indian film industry not limited to any one region.

not ironic at all, india has thousand of different ethnic groups. india is a heavily mixed country, their is no one indian race. indians from different regions look completely different. throughout the centuries there have been various conquest of indian territories. the Mughul invasion, led to Arab-Indian mixes, plus different indian dynasties mixed with other indians dynasties, throughout history. Indian culture isn't against interracial relationship. There are people in india who look like africans and there are people who look like souther europeans. All of them are culturally indians. Some indians maybe against marrying non indian, but it's not a racial issue it's more cultural.
BTW, caucasians are not all white. The majority of indians are caucasian(meaning from the caucasoid race), but not white. Meaning they have the same bone structure and features as Europeans, but darker skin color, even dravidians are Caucasoid, meaning caucasian. So she looks caucasian, because she is. But she isn't white or mixed with white. There are plenty of light-skinned indians that look like her and aren't mixed at all. Kashmiris come to mind. No indian would mistake her for anything other than indian. Even though see has light skin she still has a unique indian look.

Wrong. The majority of indians belong to the the Caucasoid race, same race as Europeans. Even dravidians are are classed as caucasoid, because of bone structure and features. these are all indigenous indian groups. The difference in skin color comes in because of climate, South India, is hotter. North India is cooler. In Kashmir, were it's really cold and harsher weather, you get much lighter skin color then in other parts of India. There is very little foreign genetic imprint left by foreign occupiers in India. It has more to do with climate than anything else.
As far as the skin color issue, I'd have to say your wrong again. Most light skin indians, come from families the have medium to dark skin. I have cousins who are light skinned, but there other siblings are much darker. In indian families you can have a range of looks because indians are so mixed. So if what you say is true, there would be a class divide between different members in one family, which is false. Just because you've "been" to india or "lived" there doesn't mean you can speak for a whole country. This whole skin color issue gets blown out of proportion alot. Most indians would prefer some one with good feature, than someone with pasty pale skin.

Mumbai, is a part of North-West India. And Bolloywood is Hindi cinema, which is a North Indian language. And as far as Bollywood being a north indian film industry, I meant by language, not necessarily geography.

Granted I haven't lived in India or been there to experience the culture in person, but I do know that in my dealings with Indian people in the US, there is very much an issue about Indian people dating/marrying people of a different race/culture. My fiance is half Indian and whenever we go out, you wouldn't believe the looks and comments we get from Indian people who "oppose" our relationship. Whether it's a racial or cultural issue, it is still prejudice.
