    ^^Yeah, you have people who will do anything to see that barrier broken. But I think the big assumption about Obama is that all blacks are in love with him, but he's been getting criticized by some black people for not making his race a big enough issue. I think that's stupid, since he's not running to be president of black America, but of America.

    It is so unfair, but he, like any woman candidate, has a very fine line to walk and it is never easy and no matter how he walks it there will be someone to criticize.

    Focus group on Palin - very interesting they dont seem to fall for her charms. And they are raising questions about her choice.

    I'm amazed that the Republicans did such a cursory vetting. There are too many little surprises showing up in the first few days. You know there is more out there.

    Exactly. While people focus on Obama's race and Hillary's gender from the outside, they don't see how they have to do that balancing act. With Obama, he has to be 'black enough' for black people, but 'white enough' for middle America. And with Hillary, she has to 'strong enough' for females, but still 'feminine enough' for guys.
