But trust me, if you ever come to visit me, you will be surprised at the tolerance in the metro area even though its majorly Caucasian.
I was not surprised with the turnout at his rally this weekend. I've lived in several areas of the country and I have found something. The metro areas are more tolerant, or at least choose not to bring attention to the ignorance which lurks. The surrounding rural areas didn't get the memo.

The south has a bad reputation, but it really is the backwood mentality fueling the flame. The larger cities are totally different from the one dirt road towns.

I may be brave enough to venture to Denver, CO. I am still waiting for someone to convince me to set foot in Utah, though.

There are so many blatant lies and misconceptions about the Muslim faith that its scary. I'm not even a Muslim, I'm a Christian, and it scares the hell out of me how uninformed people are regarding other cultures and viewpoints. They'll track you down and kill you? They'll lie - it says so in the Koran? How about going to your local library and picking up the book and read it yourself instead of reciting all of these fundie viewpoints, its frightening. And yet these same people will be the first to argue that all of the Middle East is so ignorant and backwards and that we're the "bestest!" Yeah, we have no religious assholes here, you betcha.

That one guy who threatened to "track you down" sounded kind of threatening.

    I don't vouch for Utah.

I would love if it after the election a network would do a special show highlighting these people to discuss racism in America and how it does play into the election process. I would love these people to get the national coverage they so deserve. I trust that the overwhelmong majority of Americans would not support their extreme views.

I cannot believe how stupid people are anymore. Everything that these idiots said can be debunked or are just GOP talking points. These people define the word stupid.

It's a shame that people believe everything they hear. It's easier to just be spoonfed someone elses opinion than it is to do the reading and research it takes to form your own. That's what makes these brainwashing tactics of the Republican party work so well. Especially when it's fed to the ignorant and uneducated.

Do they acknowledge that he's half white too?

I'd like to ask them what verse of the Quran where it says that.

No, of course not, that fact gets lost in all the screaming of profanities,
racial slurs, political myths, threats of violence, uproar and revolution.
There's more of these idiots than most of us are aware of and the egg
each other on like crazy. Since they lack any basic sense of decency
or intelligence for that matter I fear that one of these "special needs"

Obama isn't half white. You know the birth certificate is fake because he is really the child of a light-skinned Muslim, who, along with his father forty-eight years ago began this covert operation to have a terrorists in the White House.

What will the GOP come up with next?

Will their last ditch smear attempt be to say he is gay? That will spur their intolerant Repub supporters. Gay, Muslim, and black?

The level of anger always blows me away. As if these people have been so screwed over to be born white in America.

Okay, now I feel dumb. I was just bragging earlier how tolerant Denver is and I find out at lunch that a girl I worked with last year was jumped and beaten by five drunk college douches who thought she was a lesbian, so followed her and her friend out of the bar and stomped them. People make me sick.

^^I am so sorry! That is absolutely awful! How are she and her friend? I hope they make a full recovery and those jackasses get to go into prison.

Make sure their soap is extra slippery.
