I suspect it's some douche who just made the whole thing up.

Thought it was illegal to talk about the President like that until he gets out of office, maybe Im wrong. Whether insider or not they arent supposed to be able to say a thing about him until he leaves.

I notice everybody wants to knock Obama but Im pretty darn sure the other guy wouldnt have done much better. In fact we might just be worst off. Was the other guy McCain? Im not sure. Im sure if Bush got elected again, I know it wasnt possible but if McCain were elected things would be way worse than they are now. As for Obama being elected again, I dont know. Im still amazed that after Bush royally messed everything up he got a second term. What in the World was up with that?

No, we have free speech here. As long as its not threats you can say anything you damn well please.

I really wanted Hilary to win too. She was the only candidate I could really get behind. I hope she runs again.

I'm a little tired of the Obama bashing. The whole system is set up to be about compromises. Unfortunately, all the compromises have been one-sided.

As to the Obama marriage. Of course there are issues. They are both strong people and under the current system, one party of the relationship's ambitions is being subjugated to the other's.

Obama lazy? Not buying even a whiff of it. My take is that he's totally disillusioned. My guess is that he's a grown up and expects other adults to come to the table, sit down and make compromises to reach a decision on major issues.

Always and forever, the alternative to Obama would have been a disaster. Anyone recall Hoover? How the Hoover Republican, pay no attention to the masses policies left the nation? Add Palin hysteria to that mix and we would have been a depression unlike any other. How would that have affected the world?

Frankly my anger is directed at the pansy ass dems in congress. Fucking call the Repubs bluff, make them actually fillibuster every bill - start with numnuts McCain on the defense spending bill (DADT). Make his worthless ass stand up and read the fucking bible for 48 hours.

    I don't believe it either.

I also don't see Hillary gearing up to run. If she does, it wouldn't be good for her, especially as she's Sec. of State of Obama's administration.

I was supporting Hillary so Obama is not exactly my fave person. However, I wouldn't just believe this hatchet job without question. It reads like sour grapes by someone from the Clinton camp.

I wouldn't blame President Obama if he didn't want to run for a second term, considering the asswipes he has had to deal with both in and outside of his party. I'd like for him to do so, since the Dems don't have any strong candidates that I can see, but hey, I'd totally understand.

Stand by for more Republican follies.

Exactly. EXACTLY. The Dems in Congress are by and large the most spineless, worthless, useless people. I say that as a life-long Dem. And I totally recognize the few, totally vital workhorses. But the rest of them are just useless and at best placeholders to prevent an even worse outcome. BUt they have zero balls, zero ability or inclination to stand up for really anything.

A wild question: who decides who gets to be Speaker of the House/ Senate? Is it all based on archaic laws dictating the position via seniority? Because if not, seriously.... I want Rep. Anthony D. Weiner for Speaker of the House. This is where Dems always go astray- they rarely appoint or put anyone in power who actually cracks the whip. And unfortunately, the Repugs have the ability to lay down an order and get everyone in their party to get in line. But Dems suck at that.

Rep. Weiner for Speaker of the House, if God willing, Dems can somehow hang onto it. Otherwise... Dems need more ppl like him. People with a genuine backbone. Not just a professed backbone.

Him too! We need more Dems like those two. I don't even care if its the more conservative Dems- just please, show that you have a backbone of any sort.
