I remember when I took my 2 year old daughter with me to vote and the poll workers told me she couldn't be in the booth with me. WTF

I'd ask them why the hell they came to a polling station dressed up as Peggy Hill.

That's just dumb. Growing up I was right there beside my mother when she was voting. Although the voting stations were just tables with cardboard privacy "walls", but still.

Slutty wizards aren't a political party down here, so you'll be okay wearing that to the polls.

Local party officials here in my small corner of Virginia were urging those of us that could to go vote absentee early. Huge lines, confusion, possible equipment malfunction, possible McSame campaigner acting up and heaven alone knows what are rumored. We voted early.

Grimm, I would pony up at least twenty bucks to see you come vote in Virginny in your slutty wizard getup!

This isn't reaching; at least they are being specific about where they are drawing the line regarding passive electioneering.

Electioneering has always been frowned upon and is actually illegal.

I have taken my daughter into the booth with me every year since she was born. The people at my polling place are supportive of everyone who brings their kids. Last year the lady there told me there was a study that showed kids who went to vote with their parents tend to be much more likely to vote as adults.

I think it would be okay to show up in glasses and a SarahSuit - as long as you gave the outfit back the next day and wore something from a thrift shop.

I turned in my absentee ballot today and I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the polls.
