To answer the question, yes, the teabagging is hurting the Republican party. It's making them look like the bizarro form of sixties radicals.

the problem as I see it is that any time there is any type of protest, even as small as how many eggs can a basket hold, there are going to be people who use the first amendment, freedom of speech, to do just that speak even if those statements are hurtful, hateful, and have nothing to do with the intial idea behind the protest. Therefore whenever people of this nature who take advantage of any public gathering to spew their hatred it can't bode well for the host of that particular event, whether it is a political function, school function, boy/girl scout function..... doesn't matter imo.
YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT

Republicans just keep digging themselves in deeper. Wondering if we're actually going to see the center of the earth on this Big Dig?
The teabagging parties were one big circle jerk to make the teabaggers feel better about themselves. Since they didn't have any specific goals in the first place, you can't say whether or not they were achieved. They probably do feel better about themselves, but they didn't accomplish much except bringing the lulz.
LOL
Discussing the terrible outcomes of the decisions Bush chose intentionally = negatively harping on the past and therefore harming the future
Discussing Obama's location of birth--a matter he has no choice on and a matter that has caused no damage to America = patriotically verifying the past to ensure a better future
Obama's facist/socialist influence is already taking hold. He's the devil man. Remember that.
Bush shredding the Constitution & bankrupting the country protected America from those people who hate our freedoms. It was worth the cost.
Obama's birth certificate is an even bigger threat than the recession, two wars, rising unemployment, failing housing, auto & banking industries, healthcare....
There are some morons who seriously think he's the anti christ.
and ugh @ my spelling errors in my last post. But ah, you probably knew what I meant anyway![]()
^^ Jon Stewart did a funny segment on people who say Obama is the anti-christ. Hilarious! You have to google it if you haven't seen it yet!
