“My favorite person that’s ever been on this earth is a Jew,” he said. “How can they possibly think that if Jesus Christ is a Jew, and he’s my favorite person that’s ever been on this earth?”
Literally laughing at how lame this excuse is.

So, you were on your way to work, dressed in swaddling clothes? Dead giveaway.

I may not feel it, since I can retreat anytime to my white bread het world, but I get it loud and clear.

I want to slap every Big White Man in my family when they claim "We've given [blacks, gays, women, Jews...] what they want. Why can't they just be happy about it?"

Because you can't give it, asshole.

Anyone in the Power Elite who thinks a minority should be grateful to them, after suffering centuries of humiliation and discrimination, is a seriously deluded POS.

Yet they all read InstaPundit and read The Economist and feel so superior.

I wouldn't be surprised if it came to that. I think it's a bunch of wacko X-tians being mad that "them Jews are taking over the gubermint!!!" I see it all the time on right-wing forums and how Obama is a "jew-lover" and how he conspires to sell the US to Israel or some silly shit. IMO it surpasses the Christians vs Jews, it's more like ethnic tension I believe.

Wacko Christians, as I've said before, are typically allied with the interests of Israel - especially Apocalypic Christians. Apocalypic Christians believe that Israel has to be in Jewish hands for the 2nd coming of Christ to occur.

Sometimes - well, alot of times actually - it's embarrassing to be an American. I can't believe we put people like this in office. And I can't believe people actually want jerks like this as part of our leadership. Can't paint them all with the same brush of course, but Christian conservative = mean and intolerant these days. I am seriously scared for this country. People should and do have the freedom to worship as they see fit, religion should not be part of our political equation.

So, I don't see how the Jews would necessarily be in the crosshairs of Palin types.
That doesn't mean they like them or trust them. Just that they need them to be in Israel.
Oh, I offended you with my opinion? You should hear the ones I keep to myself.

Someone here that spouted that to me, I e-mailed him a link to the Confederate Constitution so he could read it for himself. I don't think he read it but he never brought it up again. So really I got what I wanted there.

Opposing someone simply because of their religion in government? Really?
Don't worry about what other people think. They don't do it very often.

    Totally agree.

I can't be the only one who thinks/reads the title as "official opposes Jewish housekeeper" every time I see this thread.
