Fey's Palin was spot on! The only truly funny moment on that episode.

^I agree. The rest of SNL sucked.

I'm sure they'll bring Fey will be back, they have to spoof the debates.

I was cracking up! I loved the posing and gun cocking too, plus the accent was spot on. It was hilarious how she called Global Warming, "God hugging us closer".

But my absolute favorite part was when Hilary said "I don't believe in the Bush doctrine"; to which Sarah responded with a chuckle saying "I don't know what that is".

Sarah Palin: I Once Dressed Up as Tina Fey for Halloween
    Monday September 15, 2008

NBC Photo/Dana Edelson; ROBYN BECK/AFP/Getty ImagesBuzz up!

Sarah Palin had a good laugh watching Tina Fey impersonate her on this weekend's Saturday Night Live season premiere.

Palin was on her campaign plane at the time, watching it behind a curtain.
“She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween,” her spokesperson Tracey Schmitt told CBS News.
In the clip -- which also starred Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton -- the two pleaded for an end to sexism in the presidential campaigns.
Fey presented Palin as being less experienced than Clinton.
As Poehler's Clinton bragged about her foreign policy experience, Fey's Alaskan governor exclaimed: "I can see Russia from my house!"
When Poehler said she disagreed with the Bush Doctrine, Fey's Palin whispered, "I don't know what that is" - a reference to Palin's confusion on the subject in an ABC News interview last week.

It was hilarious! And word outta Palin's camp is she watched it with some media folk on a plane, and laughed her butt off! But what the hell is a FLIGR, or whatever 'Hillary' said? Never heard that one before.

Although I will say the season opener usually sucks. It usually takes a few episodes for it to get good. So I think it was amazing how good the opener was.

With a little help from Tina Fey doubling as Sarah Palin and from guest host Michael Phelps, "Saturday Night Live" logged its best season premiere since 2001.

It was also the most-watched "SNL" for any date since December 17, 2002, when former vice president Al Gore was the guest host and jam band Phish was the musical guest.

"SNL" averaged a 7.4 household rating/18 share in the top 55 "metered" markets, Nielsen Media Research said Sunday. Saturday's program was up 64 percent compared to last year's season premiere on September 29. The top market was Baltimore, the hometown of Olympics hero Phelps.
