I'm sure some do. I remember hearing about people in the Bush Admin who watched The Daily Show a couple of years ago.

    here's the Wikipedia definition:
Temple indicates the side of the head behind the eyes. The bone beneath is the temporal bone. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_(anatomy)

for the record, I want to marry Jon Stewart but have an affair with Stephen Colbert.

I'm not entirely sure Colbert was kidding about the reptile-politician connection, either. Look at James Carville. I'm relatively sure he's not 100% human.

Additionally, there was no significant difference between the groups in thinking Colbert was funny, but conservatives were more likely to report that Colbert only pretends to be joking and genuinely meant what he said while liberals were more likely to report that Colbert used satire and was not serious when offering political statements

Sounds like both conservatives and liberals each think he agrees with them, didn't see anywhere in there that said they didn't get the humor.

    Um..

Conservatives think he's being serious under the humor, that what he's saying he actually believes. Liberals know it's tongue-in-cheek satire, and a character he created.

The statement means more or less that Group 1 thought he was using jokes to tell the truth while Group 2 though he was using lies to tell jokes.

But they still realize it's humor, so they have to get that it's satire. So that doesn't make them morons who don't understand a joke, they just think he is using humor and actually believes it at the end of the day. Anyone who watches it has to know it's not serious.

We know those conservatives aren't usually in on the joke, unless it's hazing.

Their capacity for humor is not in question, the study argues that even though both groups laugh and have a good time, the 'Group 1' people think his lies are true and 'Group 2' people think his lies are lies.

I think I'd switch it up, Jon is really really short, but damn he's sexy. Unfort, both are married, so it's harlot city for us.
